GAS for synths can get expensive, but GAS for video cameras even more so, and right now I'm lusting after a certain PTZ camera from Panasonic for a cool project >.<

Not going to give in and buy it though. Way way to expensive.

But the AW-UE150 is a *really* nice camera. 1" sensor, 4K 50p, 24.5 to 490.0 mm (35mm equivalent) at f 2.8 to 4.5, 12G SDI via copper and fiber, up to 4K 50p via NDI HX (IP based) and full virtual set / AR support.

@HackyScientress Sadly another a “professional” camera that only supports NDI HX instead of full NDI.

@v0tti Isn't NDi HX the successor of NDI and backwards compatible with NDI?

@HackyScientress Nope. NDI HX is just H264 with NDI signaling (discovery of streams etc.). It is just the already existing encoder with a bit of software.
If latency (and quality) is a concern then you want to have full NDI (like with the encoders and PTZ cameras from BridDog).

Expensive Gear

@v0tti I see. I wasn't going to use NDI for $project anyway, but that is good to know.

If what I have in mind works delay needs to be minimized wherever possible, so cameras would be synchronized and video would be over 12G SDI.
